With reference to the relief sought for in this Writ Petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader based on the written instructions given by the Tahsildar, Tiruvallur would submit that survey has been conducted in respect of the subject land and encroachments were identified. Notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 was issued to the alleged encroachers. After affording opportunity to the encroachers, further enforcement actions will be continued by following the procedures as contemplated under law.

2. In view of the said submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, with a direction to complete the said exercise within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this ordered, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
