Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 02.12.2025 seeking allotment of the house in S.No.509 to the petitioner within a stipulated period as fixed by this Honble Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 02.12.2025 seeking allotment of the house in S.No.509 to her, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she resided at Semmancheri, Perumbakkam and on the assurance of house allotment to the petitioner by the official respondents, she vacated her premises but however despite several representations in oral and written and also in person, evoked no response from the respondents. Recently, she made a representation to the respondents on 02.12.2025 to consider her representation and to allot her house in Survey No.509, however there was inaction on the part of the respondents and hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 02.12.2025 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
