The petitioner was issued a licence to sell firecrackers under the Explosives Rules, 2008. However, the said licence has been temporarily suspended. Taking advantage of the suspension, respondents 5 and 6, who are the owners of the premises, are allegedly selling and manufacturing firecrackers unauthorisedly in the name and style of “Sree Deepalakshmi Fireworks.” The petitioner therefore submitted a representation to the official respondents seeking appropriate action against them. However, no action has been taken on the said representation.
