ORDER

These Civil Revision Petitions have been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the trial Court for disposal of the Original Petitions filed in HMOP.Nos.2295 and 3376 of 2024 on the file of the I Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that originally the petitioner and the respondent had signed a petition for mutual divorce and as the respondent has not acted as per the terms agreed in the petition, the petitioner had filed a petition seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty in HMOP.No.3376 of 2024 and the respondent has filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rights in HMOP.No.2295 of 2024. Both the petitions are pending from the year 2024. They are not having any children. The petitioner is regularly attending the Court, but the respondent is not appearing before the Court. Hence, seeks a directed for speedy disposal of the above original Petitions.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of the Original Petitions in HMOP.No.2295 & 3376 of 2024 as early as possible without giving unnecessary adjournments within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above directions, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
