ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 16.11.2025 under Section 12 of the Patta Pass Book Act, seeking cancellation of the forged patta (Patta No.164) created by the fourth respondent with regard to the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.104/11 to an extent of 1 Acres 33 cents, at Gullalagundu Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District, and to restore the original Patta in favour of the petitioner's name within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner and the fourth respondent are rival claimants to the property in Survey No. 104/11, to an extent of 1 acre and 33 cents. The third respondent / Tahsildar issued patta in the name of the fourth respondent. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal, which is pending before the second respondent.

3. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the said appeal and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
