ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to take action on the petitioner's complaint, by considering his representation dated 18.11.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had already lodged a complaint regarding the theft of two sovereigns of gold jewelry and Rs. 50,000/- cash from his house with the third respondent. However, the third respondent has not registered an FIR. Consequently, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.11.2025 to the third respondent, which has also not been considered by the second respondent so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)

appearing for the respondent police submitted that as per the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was under taken and FIR in Crime No.14 of 2026 has been registered for the offence under Section 305 of BNS.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to conclude the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2026 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation.
