ORDER
(1) The present writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant the petitioner, 75% subsistence allowance after complexion of six months of suspension period, in accordance with the applicable service rules, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, by considering his representation dated 18.08.2025.
(2) Dr.T.Chandrasekaran, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. With the consent of the learned counsels on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
(3) The case of the petitioner is that while he was serving as the Village Administrative Officer, he was placed under the suspension on 27.11.2024, on the basis of the complaint registered against him in Crime No.10/AC/2024, by the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department, for the alleged offence under Section 7[a] of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
