When the matter was taken up for hearing on 05.02.2026, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the first respondent died and that the matter was directed to be listed in the first week of March 2026 for taking necessary steps.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is seen that no steps have been taken by the petitioners till date to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased first respondent, despite sufficient opportunity having been granted.
3. In view of the failure on the part of the petitioners to take necessary steps within the time granted, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
