Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2^nd respondent to remove the encroachment made by 6^th respondent in T.S.No.147, Block No.12, Deputy Collector Colony, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, based on the representation dated 06.11.2025 within the time fixed by this Court.

The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2^nd respondent to remove the encroachment made by the 6^th respondent in the Government land in T.S.No.147, Block No.12, Deputy Collector Colony, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, based on the representation dated 06.11.2025 within a time frame.

2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 5, on instructions, would submit that the Tahsildar has already called for a report from the Town Surveyor on 11.02.2026 with regard to the alleged encroachment.

3. In that view of the matter, let the 3^rd respondent/Tahsildar take appropriate action as per law after giving notice to all the parties concerned, provided, the subject land is Government land. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
