O R D E R

Mr.B.Ramanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2.

2. In view of the order proposed to be passed, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

4. Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

5. This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 herein to include the petitioners' name in the inter-se seniority list of the post of Assistant Commissioner of Labour in their respective places above all the candidates, represented by the third respondent and persons similarly placed like him, who were appointed by transfer / promotion over and above their eligible quota, in violation of the vacancy-wise quota-rota principle and the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Labour Service while revising the inter-se seniority list as directed by this Court vide Order dated 13.03.2026 in W.P.No.29670 of 2015 and batch by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 16.03.2026. 6. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration for admission, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the respondents 1 & 2 would consider the representation dated 16.03.2026 submitted by the petitioners in the light of the Order dated 13.03.2026, passed by this Court in W.P.No.29670 of 2015 and batch.

7. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners acceded to the said proposal.

8. In the light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation dated 16.03.2026 submitted by the petitioners duly taking into consideration the Order dated 13.03.2026, passed by this Court in W.P.No.29670 of 2015 and batch while finalising the seniority list of the post of Assistant Commissioner of Labour. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
