Mr.B.Ramanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2.
2. In view of the order proposed to be passed, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.
3. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.
4. Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.
5. This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 herein to include the petitioners' name in the inter-se seniority list of the post of Assistant Commissioner of Labour in their respective places above all the candidates, represented by the third respondent and persons similarly placed like him, who were appointed by transfer / promotion over and above their eligible quota, in violation of the vacancy-wise quota-rota principle and the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Labour Service while revising the inter-se seniorit
