Compliance with court order via representation consideration and salary release closes contempt petition.

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 18.08.2025 passed in W.P(MD)No.22469 of 2025, whereby, this Court directed the respondent to consider the representation dated 15.04.2025 submitted by the petitioner on its own merits and passing appropriate orders in accordance with law and to disburse the eligible salary to the petitioner.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, Mr. Om Prakash, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, submitted that the petitioner’s representation, as directed by this Court, has been considered by the respondent. Accordingly, proceedings in e.f.vz;.fa; +5/2973095/2025 dated 02.04.2026 have been issued, ordering the release of salary to the tune of Rs. 2,55,280/-, and the said amount has also been released in favour of the petitioner. A copy of the said proceedings has been placed before this Court and served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In light of the above, this Court is convinced that the respondent has complied with the order passed by this Court, and accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings dated 02.04.2026, it is open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
