It is informed that consequent to the order in the writ petition, survey had been conducted and encroachment had been identified and notices had also been issued to the encroachers.
2.It is stated that they have now filed an appeal before the District Collector under Section 10(1) of the Land Encroachment Act, 1905.
3.Since steps have been taken and now issues are pending adjudication, the contempt petition stands closed.
