The petitioner filed a contempt petition claiming non-compliance by the contemnor, the Commissioner of Melur Municipality. The Court noted counsel's submission that the matter had become infructuous. Second Paragraph: The sole issue was whether contempt proceedings should continue given the changed circumstances. The Court accepted the statement that the matter was infructuous, rendering further proceedings unnecessary. Last Paragraph: This Contempt Petition is closed.
