This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the mother of the detenue for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenue and to set her at liberty.

2. When the Habeas Corpus Petition came up for hearing on

09.03.2026, this Court passed the following order :

''Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on preliminary enquiry, it came to light that the girl is aged about 16 years and that she has gone with someone and the third respondent is taking effective steps to find the whereabouts of the minor.

3. Registry is directed to post this case on

16.03.2026. ''

3. Today, the detenue was produced before this Court. She stated that her date of birth is 13.12.2011 and that she had a misunderstanding with her mother and hence left to Tirupur and wanted to join in an export Company.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that a girl missing FIR was registered and on enquiry, it came to light that the detenue had some misunderstanding with her mother and left from the home.

5. The mother of the detenue was present before this Court and she stated that she will take her daughter. The detenue also agreed to go along with her mother.

6. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed and there shall be a direction to the third respondent to record this fact and to close the FIR in Crime No.118 of 2026. A copy of this order shall be marked to Child Welfare Committee, Tirupur.
