O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

2. Issuance of notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is a resident of Mela Nemmakottai. He alleges that in survey No.148, there are encroachments. Seeking removal of the same, this writ petition has been filed.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader conceded that survey No.148 has been classified as Samburani kulam.

5. We direct the fifth respondent to issue notice to the sixth respondent and other interested persons and conduct survey. If the encroachments are noticed, the same will be removed by adhering to due process of law. The encroachers will be put on notice after the opportunity of hearing will also be given. This exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
