By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the the third respondent to issue Hindu Kammar Schedule Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner's Minor Children, namely Rithun and Rithanya.

4.It is the grievance of the petitioner that though he is a native of P.Chettiyapatti Village, Periyakattalai Village Panchayat, Usilampatti Taluk, the petitioner is presently residing in Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai Town. When the petitioner approached the third respondent seeking community certificate to his children on the basis of the community certificate issued to him, he was directed to approach the second respondent, as he is residing in Madurai town, presently. When he approached the second respondent, he redirected the petitioner to approach the third respondent. Therefore, it is the contention of the petitioner that in view of the directions given by the second and third respondents, he is not in a position to get the community certificates for his children. Hence, he seeks an appropriate direction.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that the third respondent is the competent authority to consider the application submitted by the petitioner seeking issuance of community certificate, since the petitioner is a native of the Usilampatti.

6.In view of the above said submission, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application to the third respondent within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application is being made, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders within a period of one (1) month thereafter.

7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
