This petition, styled as Public Interest Litigation, under Article 226 of theConstitution of Indiaseeks a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to take action against the second respondent based on his representation dated 05.05.2024.
2. Learned State Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submits that show cause notice was issued to the second respondent, which was challenged by the second respondent in W.P.No.18285 of 2024 and vide order dated 18.08.2025, the writ petition was closed as the prayer sought had become infructuous. Thereafter, proceedings have been initiated against the second respondent for further action.
3. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim application stands closed.
