ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to directing the Respondents to grant permission to conduct Theertha kudam Kavadi and Virtual Programs in Chithirai Festival at Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Kovil, Vallakundapuram, Kothaiam Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, dated 08.04.2026, for a period as stipulated by this Court.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the basis of the written instruction received, submitted that the respondents have no objection for the conduct of festival.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondents are directed to grant permission to conduct Theertha kudam Kavadi and Virtual Programs in Chithirai Festival at Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Kovil, Vallakundapuram, Kothaiam Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District and provide adequate police protection for the conduct of the same, on payment of necessary charges in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
