ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to return the original title deed relating to S.No.310/part, T.S.No.25, Kottapattu Village, Kulavaipatti, K.Sathanur, Trichy Taluk, Trichy District.

2. The said property was offered as security towards repayment of loan borrowed by the petitioner and the original documents relating to the said property was deposited with the respondent bank.

3. The petitioner claims to have repaid the entire loan amount and therefore he is entitled for return of the original documents.

4. Learned Standing counsel for the Bank submitted that proceedings were initiated against the petitioner before the Debt Recovery Tribunal in O.A.No.173 of 2023 and the said original title deeds were produced before the Debts Recovery Tribunal and steps will be taken for release of the said original document before the Debts Recovery Tribunal.

5. The said submission is taken on record.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to return the original title deeds to the petitioner within a period of eights(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
