ORDER
Seeking to direct the 1st respondent to preserve the CCTV footage on the occurrence dated 11.04.2026 at about 1.00 p.m., to 04.00 p.m., before the 2nd respondent Police Station and consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2026 before the first respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is a practicing advocate who had frequented to the second respondent police station on 11-4-2026 at about 2.00 p.m. on which date he was manhandled by the 2nd respondent police and hence he had sent a representation on 12.04.2026, seeking to preserve the CCTV footage from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 11-4-2026 in the Thiruvattar police station. The same is not considered, hence the petition is filed.
3. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, the first respondents is directed to make sure that the second respondent police preserves the CCTV footage of the Thiruvattur Police Station dated 11.04.2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
