Transfer of investigation inappropriate after completion and final report filing.

Headnote:The petitioner sought transfer of investigation in Crime No.81/2018 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. from Pappanadu Police Station to CBCID or another agency. The court noted the relevant provision for inherent powers to secure justice. Facts involved a pending criminal investigation with prayer for transfer to competent agency. The court found investigation completed with final report filed. Issue framed as whether transfer appropriate post-investigation completion. Ratio: Once investigation concludes and final report filed before court, transfer unwarranted as matter pending trial, rendering petition infructuous.
