ORDER
This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 14.10.2025 passed in WP(MD)No. 25513 of 2025, whereby this Court directed to count the service of the petitioner from the date of his appointment till the date of issuance of course certificate as pensionable service and to fix the pension accordingly.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.Gunasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent placed before this Court a copy of the Revised Pension Payment Order dated 24.03.2026. A perusal of the same discloses that the entire service of the petitioner that is 29 years 2 months has been taken into consideration for fixation of pension.
3.In the circumstances, this Court is convinced that the respondents have complied with the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. In case, if the order is not fully given effect to, the petitioner is granted liberty to re-open the Contempt Petition.
