Heard Mr. K. Muthumalai, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. S. Deenadhayalan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 25.02.2026. In the said representation, the petitioner requested the respondents to restore the electricity service connection to his shop, namely, “ARCHUNAN STALL,” situated at A. Thekkur Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.
3. Mr. S. Deenadhayalan, learned counsel for the respondents, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner was evicted from the shop for the purpose of widening the Highways and, consequently, the electricity service connection was disconnected.
