Court directs posting orders post-PG completion or return of original documents if bond service not initiated.

ORDER

The petitioners are before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the third respondent to return the (1)original 12^th Standard mark sheet, (2)Original UG Degree mark sheets, (3)original UG degree certificate, (4)Original PG provisional certificate, (5)Original PG mark sheets, (6)Original PG Degree Certificate, (7)Original 10^th Standard certificate and all other original documents deposited by the respective petitioners at the time of admission to the PG courses. At the time of securing admission, the petitioners had executed bonds respectively agreeing to serve the Government of Tamilnadu for a period of not less than two years. The petitioners further states that though they are completed PG Course in October 2025, the respondents have not issued posting orders and therefore, they are entitled for return of all the original documents deposited by them.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in an identical matter in W.P(MD)No.10125 of 2026 dated 12.03.2026, this Court has directed the respondents herein to issue posting orders to the petitioners and pay them appropriate stipend within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order, failing which, the said respondents are directed to release the original certificates and documents submitted by the petitioners during the time of their admission. Therefore, this petition also disposed of in terms of the aforesaid orders.

Accordingly, the second respondent is hereby directed to issue posting orders to the petitioners and pay appropriate stipend within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the respondents are directed to release the original certificates and documents submitted by the petitioners during the time of their admission within a period of one week from thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
