This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.01.2024 and reminder dated 24.10.2025 and issued NOC for mutating land records in the name of the owners with regard to an extent of 49 cents comprised in S.No.982/2A in Hosur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents had acquired the land belonging to the petitioner's predecessor by notification under Section 4(1) of the Act in the year 1991. The said notification was quashed and thereafter the land was released from acquisition and subsequently the petitioner purchased the same. However, the respondents reopened the acquisition proceedings in the year 2002 but the petitioner's land has not been utilized for any public purpose. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 12.01.2024 to the 2nd respondent, followed by a reminder dated 24.10.2025, but no action has been taken till date and hence, he has come up with the present writ petition.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on merits, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2024 and the reminder dated 24.10.2025 and after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
