O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the second respondent to register the document kept pending in Document No. P/Thirumayam/75/2025 dated 31.12.2025 and release the same to the petitioner.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that an objection petition had been received from one Chidambaram and that pending enquiry with reference to the said objections, the document was treated as a pending document.

3. When an objection petition is submitted by a third party, it is for the second respondent to expeditiously conduct an enquiry by summoning both the petitioner and the said objector and to pass appropriate orders, either registering the document if it is otherwise in order or passing orders to the contrary, if warranted, in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order.
