PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to Consider a fresh proposal in the line of recommendation made by the 4th respondent vide Proceedings in Na.Ka.no. 7357/ A3/ 2023 dated .08.2025 and sent to the 1st respondent so as enable to give selection grade to the petitioner in the cadre of Headmaster of Elementary School as per G.O.Ms.No.234, School Education Department, dated 10.09.2009 and Confer all the consequential benefits including revision of arrears and Revision of pension.

ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to Consider a fresh proposal in the line of recommendation made by the 4th respondent vide Proceedings in Na.Ka.no. 7357/ A3/ 2023 dated .08.2025 and sent to the 1st respondent so as enable to give selection grade to the petitioner in the cadre of Headmaster of Elementary School as per G.O.Ms.No.234, School Education Department, dated 10.09.2009 and Confer all the consequential benefits including revision of arrears and Revision of pension.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher and retired from service as Headmaster of Higher Secondary School on 30.05.2018. While so, the petitioner seeks revision of arrears and pension in accordance with the government orders. The petitioner had sent his request for revised pension proposals along with the clarification letter dated 29.07.2021 to the first respondent, for which, there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner’s proposal in the light of the recommendation made by the 4th respondent vide Proceedings in Na.Ka.no. 7357/ A3/ 2023 dated .08.2025 and if the petitioner is found eligible under the said proceedings, the first respondent shall pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
