O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the following relief:

“To direct the respondents to select the petitioner (Roll No.8201006930) for the post of constable in CISF 2025 by considering the petitioner’s representation dated

03.02.2026”

2. The petitioner would submit that the Staff Selection Commission published a notification on its official website inviting applications for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau - Examination 2025. The petitioner applied for the said examination and he successfully secured 99.48554 marks.

3. Thereafter, the petitioner was directed to attend physical standard test / physical efficiency test on 21.08.2025 at Group Centre, CRPF, Avadi, Chennai. The petitioner successfully completed the running within the prescribed time and he was allowed to participate physical standard test on the very same day. His height was measured as 174.6 cms against the minimum height of 170 cms. Further, he has been issued with an e-admit card for document verification / detailed medical examination on 13.11.2025 and he has been successfully declared as medically fit.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that his name does not find place in the officially published list in the respondent’s website. The petitioner came to understand that during DV/DME his bio-metric was found to be not matching with the bio-metric recorded earlier in the recruitment database. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents to take necessary steps in this regard. Since there is no response the petitioner is before this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner’s representation dated 03.02.2026 has not been considered to date, the respondents are directed to consider his representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is allowed. No costs.
