ORDER
This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for the contempt of order of this Court dated 23.01.2026 made in W.P.No.131 of
2026.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he had filed a writ petition seeking a mandamus to direct the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and initiate appropriate action against the third respondent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2025 and this Court, by order dated 23.01.2026, had directed the Senior Superintendent of Police (POP) to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2025 and to dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Alleging that the said order of this Court has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition is filed. 3.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent/contemnor would submit that the direction of this Court issued vide order dated 23.01.2026 has been complied with and an enquiry has been completed and the representation of the petitioner has been disposed of by Memorandum dated 29.01.2026 and it has also been served on the petitioner on 13.03.2026.
4.Recording the statement of the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry)
and on finding that the order of this Court has been complied with, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
