ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to set aside and modify the condition imposed in M.P.No. 1 of 2026 in Crl.A.No. 75 of 2026 dt. 24.02.2026 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge at Thiruvallur and enlarge the petitioner on bail.
2. The petitioner is the accused in S.T.C.No.135 of 2024 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Poonamallee. By judgment, dated 06.11.2024, the petitioner was sentenced to undergo one year of simple imprisonment and to pay compensation of Rs.20,00,000/-. The petitioner was subsequently secured and remanded to judicial custody on 15.12.2025 and he was in prison for 71 days. While the petitioner was in prison, he had filed an appeal in CA.No.75 of 2026 along with a petition for suspension of sentence. The learned Sessions Judge while suspending the sentence and granting bail, imposed a condition directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amoun
