Heard Mr.A.Rajaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 and consequently remove the encroachments made by the respondents 5 and 6 in the Government Poramboke land comprised in Ward No.4, Block No.74, Survey No.534, to an extent of 95 cents situated at Veeramanickapuram, Tirunelveli District.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that already survey has been conducted and encroachments have been identified in the subject lands and the authorities have initiated appropriate proceedings under the Land Encroachment Act to remove the encroachment.

4. In view of the fact that already encroachments had been identified, the official respondents are directed to take appropriate proceedings under the relevant Act and Rules to remove the encroachment after affording reasonable opportunities to the concerned parties, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
