Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent not to grant any special Honor/Mariyathai to the respondents 2 and 3 during the Chitra Pournami festival, ie., on 01.05.2026 and to ensure peaceful and equal participation of all villagers by considering the petitioner's representation dated
20.04.2026.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents not to grant any special honor to the second and third respondents during the Chitra Pournami festival and to ensure peaceful and equal participation of all villagers by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no special privilege should be given to anybody including the respondents 2 and 3.
3. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the first respondent would submit that there is no such proposal for granting any special privilege to any person.
4. It is represented by the first respondent that no positive finding can be recorded by this Court, only after the issue of notice to the respondents 2 and 3, the matter can be decided. However, since the writ petition was moved only today at the last minute, it is impossible to issue notice and decide the matter before 30.04.2026, on which the festival is held.
