ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to correct the petitioner's date of birth in the passport bearing No.V4267974 to re-issue the passport pursuant to the representation dated 13.03.2026. 2. The petitioner stated that in the passport, his date of birth was inadvertently mentioned as 16.10.1969 instead of 05.02.1976. Subsequently, he has obtained public documents like Aadhar Card and PAN card in which the date of the birth of the petitioner is mentioned as 05.02.1976 and therefore submitted an application with the respondent to correct the date of birth in the passport and re-issue the same.
3. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has issued guidelines/circulars prescribing the documents that may be produced for issuance or correction of passport particulars.
