ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Para No.1 in CMP.No.133 of 2025 dated 22.01.2026 on the file of the II Additional District Judge, Salem.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted bail by the learned II Additional District Judge, Salem on 22.01.2026, on condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties. Though the petitioner was granted bail, due to his poor financial background, he was unable to execute the bond. Hence, he prays for modification of the said order.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the said condition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is ordered and the condition in Para No.5(i) imposed by the learned II Additional District Judge, Salem, in Crl.M.P.No.133 of 2025 dated 22.01.2026 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties. Except the above modification, all other conditions imposed on the petitioner shall remain unaltered.
