ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 to 6 to take appropriate action on the representations of the petitioner dated 28.10.2025 and 02.02.2026 and to ensure that they maintain the subsisting name in respect the Panchayath Union Elementary School, Alagupatti, and consequently direct the respondents not to modify, change or alter the Alagupatti Panchayath union Elementary School, Alagupatti, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that in the work order in respect of Alagupatti Panchayath union Elementary School, Alagupatti, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District, due to inadvertent mistake, it has been mentioned as Silvarpatti Village. He would further submit that the said mistake will be set right.

3. In that view of the matter, no further order is required. Let the respondents as agreed before this Court correct the name of the village in the work order without any further delay.
