O R D E R
The prayer in this Writ Petition is for a mandamus directing the third respondent to forward the proposed by-laws of V.Kalathur Mosque Waqf, bearing G.S.No.449, to the second respondent and consequently directing the second respondent to receive and approve the said by-laws and thereafter to conduct elections in accordance with the said by-laws in respect of the Waqf.
2. When the matter came up for admission, the learned Standing Counsel, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the by-laws have already been received and are yet to be placed before the Waqf Board and that in view of the Model Code of Conduct being in force on account of the general elections, the matter will be placed as an agenda item in the Board Meeting as and when it is convened and upon approval, the same will be forwarded to the authorities for conducting elections. The learned Standing Counsel would further submit that the aforesaid exercise can be completed within a period of four months. 3.In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of
