No.29 of 2021 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases Registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Namakkal for convicting the petitioner and by confirming the Judgment dated 27.01.2021 passed in S.T.C.No.283 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate (FTC) (Magistrate Level) at Tiruchengode.

K. Thiyagarajan ... Petitioner/ Appellant/ Accused Vs S. Loganathan ... Respondent/ Respondent/ Complainant This case is taken up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat.

Both the parties are present. Mr.P. Vijayakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. C.S. Saravanan, learned counsel for the respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The total cheque amount involved in this case is Rs.4,00,000/-. After due deliberation and consultation, both the parties have agreed to come to a mutual compromise for the total cheque amount of Rs.4,00,000/-. Thereby, the respondent herein agrees to receive a sum of Rs.3,20,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs and Twenty Thousands only) from the petitioner herien by way of cash today (14.03.2026), over and above the amount of Rs.80,000/- already deposited by the petitioner herein before the learned Judicial Magistrate (FTC)

(Magistrate Level), Tiruchengode to the credit of S.T.C.No.283/2019 and the same may be permitted to withdraw with accrued interest by the respondent herein.

2. The cash of Rs.3,20,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs and Twenty Thousand only) given by the petitioner herein has been received by the respondent/ complainant and the same has been acknowledged by the respondent/ complainant.

3. In view of the above compromise arrived between the parties, the sentence imposed on the petitioner herein in C.A. No.29 of 2021 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases Registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Namakkal for convicting the petitioner, by confirming the Judgment dated 27.01.2021 passed in S.T.C.No.283 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate (FTC) (Magistrate Level) at Tiruchengode is hereby set aside.

4. This Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.

Consequently, connected criminal miscellaneous petitions, if any stand closed.
