O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to
survey and fix the boundaries of the land situated in Survey No.846/20 in Kelakadayam Village based on the appeal submitted by the petitioner dated
31.12.2025 within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the third
respondent had refused to conduct a survey of the property and that the survey authority lacks jurisdiction to decline such action or pass any orders in this
regard.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1
to 3, as well as the learned counsel for the fourth respondent.
4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case,
this Court directs the second respondent/Tahsildar to conduct enquiry after issue notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Both parties are at liberty to submit all relevant records
before the authority and raise all permissible grounds.
5. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks
from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
