Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 2 and 3 not to evict the petitioner in property comprised in old survey No.55/4 new survey No.55/3 for an extent of 0.54.0 Hectares are situated at Periyanayagi Chathiram Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District without following due process of law consequently direct the respondents to consider his explanation dated 22.10.2025.

2. The petitioner wants us to restrain the respondents from interfering with his possession and enjoyment of the petition mentioned land.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate produced a copy of the order passed under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act on 05.02.2026. A copy the same has been served on the petitioner's counsel. It is for the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. No relief can be granted in this writ petition. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
