O R D E R
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned Charge Sheet laid against the petitioner in S.T.C.No.1847 of 2025 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 05.04.2024, G.Puthuraja, Election Officer, Thiruvadanai Assembly Constituency (de facto complainant) allegedly received information through the (C.Viji) App stating that at the entrance of Thiruvadanai Police Station, a wall poster was pasted requesting the public to cast their votes in favour of the petitioner, who belongs to the Indian Union Muslim League Party. Pursuant thereto, the election monitoring team visited the place and removed the wall poster and since pasting such wall posters without permission violates the Model Code of Conduct, G.Puthuraja
