ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned proceedings dated 24.03.2025.

2.The petitioner had made an application to the Government Theni Medical College Hospital for obtaining copies of the medical records of her husband, who was admitted in the hospital on 17.02.2024. But however, succumbed to the injuries, while taking treatment on 22.02.2024. When the petitioner applied for copies of the Medical records such as admission papers and treatment records, since the case is a medical legal case, the same was refused and it was advised that it will be granted only on orders of Court. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that since the case pertains to medical legal records, normally they are not furnished to the parties, unless directed by the Court.
