The petitioner herein filed W.P.(MD)No.6051 of 2025 for directing the authorities to demolish the construction put up by one Syed Ambiya. The said writ petition was disposed of on 20.03.2025 in the following terms:-
“Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry with regard to the construction put up by the 4th respondent and give opportunity of hearing to the 4th respondent. If ultimately they find that the construction made by the 4th respondent is unauthorised one, the same shall be removed in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.”
2.Pursuant to the aforesaid direction, lock and seal order was passed by the Executive Officer of Town Panchayat, Vadakarai Keezhpidakai. On receipt of the said order, Syed Ambiya filed an application for regularizing her construction. This request was rejected on the ground that she purchased the property after the cut off date.
