This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in CC.No.1688 of 2016 on the file of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 & 3 submitted that already trial has been commenced and now the case has been posted for arguments.

3. Therefore, after commencement of trial, this quash petition cannot be maintainable. As such, this criminal original petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
