Withdrawal of aversive petition in matters involving custody and guardian appointment.

Headnote:The petitioner's counsel sought permission to withdraw the O.P. filed under Sections 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 25 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, r/w. Order XXI, Rules 2, 3 and Letters Patent Clause 17, praying for the appointment of the petitioner as guardian and permanent custody of the child. The application is granted.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Original Petition stating that the petitioner wants to withdraw this Original Petition. She has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. Accordingly, this Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected application is closed.
