This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2026 given for changing the classification of the petitioners own patta land in S.Nos.495/9B and 495/10 situated at Block No.19, Ward No.1 Chairman Duraisamy Naidu Road @ Krishnagiri Road, Thiruppathur and District in view of patta Nos.302 and 314 issued by the Town Settlement Tahsildar, Thiruppathur and District as early as possible.

The petitioner’s husband inherited the property comprised in S.Nos.495/9B and 495/10, situated at Block No.19, Ward No.1 Chairman Duraisamy Naidu Road @ Krishnagiri Road, Thiruppathur and District and he is in continuous possession and enjoyment of the said properties without any hindrance and was also issued with Patta in No.304. The petitioner and her husband jointly constructed Kalyana Mandapam in the said land by obtaining loan from Indian Bank, Fair Lands Branch, Salem District and while that being so, in the month of January, when they approached the bank for renewal of loan, the bank officials asked for production of online patta. During the process of getting online patta, to her shock and surprise, came to know that their own patta land has been wrongly classified as Government Poromboke in revenue records. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the 3rd respondent on 28.03.2026 with a copy marked to the respondents 1, 2 and 4 along with relevant documents requesting them to change the classification of patta, but till date no action has been taken and hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on merits, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2026 and after affording opportunity to necessary parties, shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
