Muthirulandi, PID No.205558 (CP No.6067) lodged at Central Prison, Madurai, forthwith considering the representation dated 11.03.2026 2. It is the case of the petitioner that her father convicted by the Principal Sessions Court, Ramanathapuram in S.C.No.05 of 2019 dated 22.09.2021 and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment. Aggrieved over the same, the convict has preferred an appeal before this Court and the same was dismissed. The petitioner submitted an application seeking emergency leave for a period of 6 days. However, the convict is directed to comply with the usual conditions imposed by the jail authorities and he should also report before the second respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., and 05.30 p.m. till the completion of leave period. He shall duly comply with the conditions and return to the prison on expiry of the leave period.
4. Accordingly, the order of the first respondent dated 11.05.2026 is quashed in sofar as the ordering escort alone and the Writ Petition is disposed of.
