This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 4th respondent pertaining to the impugned notice dated 07.05.2026 and quash the same as illegal, improper and also without jurisdiction.

2. Heard both sides.

3. What is under challenge is only a notice issued under Section 7 of the Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The petitioner can very well respond to the same. If any adverse order is passed, the petitioner can work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

4. We are of the view that the petitioner has unnecessarily invoked this Court’s jurisdiction prematurely. However, the petitioner is given two weeks time from today to offer his response.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
