Seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer the petitioner’s son, Sakthivel, son of Shanmugaraj, aged 30 years, presently confined in Central Prison, Salem to any Government or Private Hospital to give appropriate medical treatment, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation on 04.05.2026 but the same has not been considered.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner’s representation would be considered.
4. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 04.05.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
