O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner pursuant to her applications dated 15.04.2025 and to appoint her to the post of Anganwadi Worker, in the light of the order dated

26.11.2013 passed by this Court in W.A.(MD) No. 484 of 2012.

2. This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on

17.04.2026. This Court, after having heard the learned counsel on either side, came to a prima facie conclusion that the relief sought in the Writ Petition had become infructuous, as the impugned recruitment process was stated to have already been concluded and the appointment order was also stated to have been issued. Taking note of the same, this Court directed Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, to produce the relevant proceedings evidencing that the recruitment process had already been concluded and that the appointment order had been issued.

3. In response, today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placed before this Court a copy of the proceedings bearing reference Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.525/A1/2025, issued as early as in November 2025, appointing one Mrs.A.Priyanka as Anganwadi Worker.

4. In the light of the above, in the absence of any specific challenge to the said appointment order, the relief sought in the present Writ Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps to challenge the said appointment order bearing reference Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.525/A1/2025, if so advised. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
