3. Pursuant to a public notification dated 09.04.2025, the first respondent

herein invited applications for the said post in various aided minority schools in Mugaiyur Panchayat Union, Villupuram District. The petitioner had also applied for the said post as she was fully eligible for the same. The third respondent, by proceedings dated 06.05.2025, had called the petitioner to appear for an interview held on 14.05.2025 at the office of the first respondent. The

petitioner had also attended the interview with all necessary certificates.

4. Subsequently, by proceedings dated 11.09.2025, the second respondent

prepared a list containing five candidates, in which the petitioner was placed first. The same was forwarded to the fourth respondent school, which, by letter dated 21.09.2025, recommended the petitioner’s name for appointment. However, no appointment order was issued. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 07.01.2026 to the Chief Minister Special Cell, to which a reply was received stating that the fourth respondent management had forwarded the name of only one person instead of five and therefore, the request for appointment was rejected. Thereafter, by proceedings dated 16.02.2026, the fifth respondent was appointed as Assistant Cook in the fourth respondent school. The petitioner contends that the fifth respondent, being the wife of a politician belonging to the ruling party, influenced the authorities and secured

the appointment in violation of the prescribed procedure.
